What openinghours does the tourist bureau have?
The tourist bureau is open all year around but the openinghours can vary depending on the season. Generally we are open as written below. Deviations can occure. PLease contact us for exact dates concerning season, and if the weather is nice at or in connection to the high season when the openinghours can be extended. The exact dates and openinghours can be found at our answeringmichine when we are closed:

January- April: Monday- Friday at 09.00- 16.30, closed for lunch at 12.00-13.00.
Weekends closed.
May- Middle of June: Monday-Thursday at 09.00-16.30.
Fridays 09.00-20.00.
Weekends open at 10.00- 15.00.
Middle of June- Middle of August: Highseason open daily at 09.00-21.30. (2011 23/6-7/8)

How do I find the way to the Tourist Bureau?
Sunne Torustbureau is in southern Sunne in a neighbourhood called Kolsnäs, about 1,5km south of Sunne centre. In the same area is Sunne Swecamp Kolsnäs, which you can see from the large road- E45, as well as Sunne Vattenland. The address is Kolsnäsvägen 4, 686 35 Sunne. Some hotels close by is SelmaSpa+ and Quality Hotel Selma Lagerlöf.
How do I find the way to Selma Lagerlöfs Mårbacka?
Mårbacka Minnesgård, which is Selma Lagerlöfs childhood home, is 13km east of Sunne in Östra Ämtervik. You go through the centre of Sunne in a eastern direction, then you simply follow the signs to Mårbacka. For more infomration about openinghours, click on he link above in the answer.
What is there to do for children in Rottneros Park, and when is it open?
Rottneros Park is open during the summerseason, from about June- August. The park is open between May-September for prebooked groups. See link for more information.
Apart from offering a lovely flowerpark with beautiful sculptures, there is alot to do for children in Nils Holgerssons adventurepark- a popular attraction for many schooltrips and study- visits. Opened the whole summer. In the adventurepark you can find the big wooden pirateship as well as the playground. In the climbing-forest children can get an outlet for their energy where they can run around on suspensionbridges in the treetops or climb at the walls or goes in the slides. On the way doen to the childrens area of the park is a "balanceroad" where the children can play Don't touch ground! Down int he childrens area there are loads of ativities offered. Electrical cars, a large jumpingpillow, flying at Akka the gooses back, steer small boats or pull yourself over the river on a pirateraft. If you get hungry there is a hotdog- and icecream- café in the children- area. You can find some other choices of food as lunch, sandwiches and coffee in the entrancecafé and in the entranceshop you can find candy and souverniers.
When is Vattenlandet i Sunne open and what does it cost? Is it included in the campingprice?
Vattenlandet i Sunne is only open during the summer since it is an outdoorpark. The season is from the middle of June to the middle of August. When they are open the openinghours are between 10.00-18.00 everyday. The entranceprice is not icluded in any campingprices since the park is its own park with its own prices.
You pay an entranceprice to get in (Visa): Up to 1 meter: 0:-, over 1 meter: 150:-. Whats included in this entranceprice is acess to the two pools, the childpool with Ormen and Minibubblan, Floden, Lagunen, Bastun and Beach Fryken. If you want to try the attractions you buy an attraction- pass based on your height: 100-120cm: 50:-, 120cm and above 100:-. The ones who are under 100cm are not alloud to go in the larger attractions and are threfore in no need of buying an attraction-pass. Although they are allowed to be in the pools and to go in the Mammoth with an adult who has an attraction-pass. Thus theres no need for a personal attraction-pass. The ones who are between 100-120cm can go in the TubeRacer, BodySlide or Fritt Fall and Långa Vågen. Therefor they have a lower price on their attraction-pass. The ones who are 120cm and taller can go in any of the attractions.

Sunne Touristbureau cannot book any private cottages for you since we don't have our own agency for this, but we can offcourse help you find different alternatives of private cottages. You can find some alternatives at our website when looking at Stay- and surch for Cottages & Cabines. Short information and who to contact for booking can be found there as well.
We also have more alternatives to choose from which we can send to you via email or postmail, where private renters have left short information about their cottage or apartment which we have put together in a list.
